What is Matcha?
Matcha is made by simply grinding up the entire green tea leaf, this means you consume all of the leaf which means you can have up to 137 x the antioxidants of regular green tea.
Where does your Matcha come from?
We have sourced the finest tea leaves from organic certified tea fields in Japan, the leaves are then grounded and this is what you recieve. Nature’s top superfood ready for you to enjoy.
How do I drink it?
- Take 1g of Matchafix green tea powder (optional: Put it through a sieve)
- Add very hot water (but not boiling water as this can burn the powder)
- Whisk it up till it has a light forth on top
- Enjoy your freshly brewed cup of Matcha green tea
Does it contain caffeine?
Our matcha contains naturally occurring caffeine, approx 32mg per 1 gram serving.
How much do I get?
We deliver you a pouch with 50g of matcha, this is enough for around 30-50 cups of tea or you can experiment with our matcha in food.
Should I sift it?
This is optional, we recommend it as due to static electricity in the air powders can stick together, sifting smoothes out the powder making for a more improved taste.
How do I store my matcha?
You can store your matcha in an air-tight container in your fridge to keep it at it’s freshest, alternatively simply keep it in the pouch sealed in a cold place out of light.
Matcha won’t go off but over time the taste, colour and aroma may degrade. We recommend once opened to use within 30-40 days for the best taste.
